2024 Variety Women of Melbourne

An event to inspire, influence and connect 

The Variety Women of Melbourne lunch is a day for the women of our city to come together to celebrate the kindness and resilience of women whilst raising much needed funds for Variety – the Children’s Charity of Victoria.

Enjoy a three-course lunch with premium beverages, see the latest fashions from Lisa Barron OAM and listen to heartwarming stories from donors and recipients of the Variety Hair with Heart program.  You will have to opportunity to test your luck in the wine wall and raffle, or secure something special in the silent auction!

The 2024 Women of Melbourne event will be raising money to support children in need especially those supported by the Variety Hair with Heart program which provides wigs for children who have experienced hair loss through cancer, alopecia, or other medical conditions.

Variety - the Children’s Charity help kids living with disability, illness or experiencing disadvantage. Our work allows kids to gain mobility, to get out in the community, to communicate, achieve independence and increase self-esteem. Thanks to the financial support that Variety receives from supporters and partners we can make sure that kids who may miss out can join in.

• We support through the provision of grants for a range of equipment.
• We run programs to educate and empower kids that are falling through the cracks.
• We give scholarships to encourage the talents of kids living with disability or experiencing disadvantage.
• And most importantly, we hold kids’ events to bring joy, light and laughter to kids and their families.
