2024 VIC Community Gardens Gathering
Event description
Come and experience a fabulous day in the Yarra Valley with your fellow Victorian community gardeners!
We will have speakers, workshops, lots of fun for the kids and a big "Masterchef" style cook-up for our community lunch.
Learn all about biochar, permaculture in community gardens, community garden governance and more! Plus, enjoy a tour of ECOSS - an environmental and educational community hub that is the site of our activities for the day.
Bring along some of your produce to share in the "Masterchef" pantry for lunch and then join in the food swap at the end of the day with all of the remaining goodies.
Morning and afternoon tea as well as lunch is included in the ticket. Please bring your own water bottle, keep cup and bag for some goodies. Also remember you will be spending some time outdoors so dress appropriately for the weather and don't forget your sun protection.
