2024 Wellycon Prototype event

Come and get some real feedback from real players.

NOTE: This ticket does NOT give you entry to Wellycon, only to the prototype event once you're inside.

The Wellycon prototype event was so popular in the last 2 years that we're repeating it in 2024. As a designer, this is your chance to put your game in front of a wide variety of members of the gaming community.

Wellycon attendees who play-test your prototypes will go into a prize draw for a voucher for our on-site retailers.

Your game will fit into either Short, Medium or Long category, with attendees getting the relevant stamp on their passport. If your game is a long one, and you want to get a variety of input, we suggest doing an introductory round or two and then closing. They can go into the draw as soon as they have collected enough stamps:

• 1 long game + 1 other game,
• 1 medium game + 2 other games,
• 4 short games

All stamps must be different!

You can encourage great feedback by offering small prizes at the table for really useful comments or great game play.

Stamps can be given out anytime the attendee plays the prototype & gives you feedback - if you are an exhibitor with a table, this counts, or if you play with them on Saturday at a regular play table, you can give them a stamp. You will be given your stamp when you arrive on the Friday or Saturday during setup.

This ticket gives you a space at a table during the formal Prototype event - Sunday 2nd June 9am-1.30pm. NOTE: It does NOT give you entry to Wellycon. Please purchase a regular Wellycon ticket once they go on sale (approx 6 weeks before the event).
