Fearless Freelancing - ONE DAY COURSE (9 Oct)
Event description
Thriving as a self-employed professional
A freelancer is a self-employed professional who works directly for clients in their field of expertise. In many sectors, freelance careers are the norm these days. Yet, while most practitioners are experts their trade, nobody teaches us the nuances of freelancing itself and how to survive without an employer.
Whether you’re a seasoned freelancer, looking to brush up your skills, or someone considering taking the plunge, this course will look at what it takes to survive under your own steam. While welcoming all self-employed individuals, this course will be especially relevant to those in the arts and cultural and human services sectors.
Your trainer, Carmen Braidwood is a veteran TV and radio personality, experienced educator and executive coach with decades of successful freelancing experience.
Over the day, Carmen will guide you through the amazing benefits and common pitfalls of freelancing and how to thrive as a solo professional in a modern world.
