Queensland Kendo Renmei invites you to the Queensland Kendo Summer Iaido & Jodo Seminar!
SEMINAR
Chief Instructors:
Iaido - Toshiaki Tsukadaira Sensei - Iaido Kyoshi 7 Dan
Jodo - David Kolb - Jodo 6 dan
Date/time: Saturday 24th January 2026
Location: Mt Gravatt High School Hall, Creighton Street, Mt Gravatt. Parking available onsite.
Who can attend - Current QKR members, AKR affiliate members and FIK affiliate* members are welcome to attend.
Schedule
Dojo will open at 08:30
9:00-12:00 - Training will commence promptly at 9 am - First Session will run until 12 md with brief drink/rest appropriate to the weather.
12:00-13:00 - Lunch break (lunch will not be provided - there are various food options close at hand or please being your own).
1;3:00-14:30 - Second training session
15:00-16:00 - Shinsa up to 3rd Dan in Iaido only, there will not be a Jodo grading examination.
