Get Exam-Ready with Confidence and a Smile!
ALL REGISTRATIONS MUST BE MADE BY 30 JUNE 2025
AMEB Workshop Day has been designed to be a fun, supportive, and super practical session designed to help you walk into your exam feeling relaxed, prepared, and proud.
Led by an expert team including AMEB Examiner Phil Moran, Piano Teacher Annette Houghton, Accompanist Phil Rees, and Head of Strings Stephanie Li, this workshop gives every student the chance to:
Run through their full exam program
Receive feedback and tricks and tips for teachers
Build confidence in aural skills, general knowledge, scales, and more
Whether you're polishing your final performance or just need a boost before the big day, this is your chance to prep like a pro and have some fun while you're at it!
1 x ticket needed per student for the entire day. Students will be split into 2 groups (prelim to grade 4 & Grade 5+)
NOTE: As this is an all day workshop, students will need to bring their own morning tea and lunch.

AMEB Comprehensive exam students - prelim to grade 4
9am-10am Scales
10am-11am Practice exam sessions (performance)*
11am-11:30am Morning tea
11:30am-12:30pm General Knowledge
12:30pm-1:30pm Practice exam sessions (performance)*
1:30pm-2pm Lunch
2pm-3pm Sight-reading
3pm-4pm Practice exam sessions (performance)*
4pm-5pm Aural skills
*Each student will get the opportunity to run their entire exam program for the teachers. It will be split into 3 sessions to allow for everyone to have a turn. Great to both listen to our peers and have a chance to run their exam from top to bottom.

Great to both listen to our peers and have a chance to run their exam from top to bottom. Student in Grade 5+ will be required to submit their music to the office by Monday 30th July for the accompanist. Pianist do not have to submit music.
