AMIC Retail Nationals Weekend
We invite you to be a part of the premier event for the Independent Retail Butcher in Australia. The pinnacle of the Australian Meat Industry Council's Retail competition program is our National Competition Weekend, which brings together the best in our industry. To be held across Friday 21st and Saturday 22nd February 2025 at the Country Club in Launceston Tasmania a great weekend to celebrate our industry and those that work within it.
See who will be crowned the National winners in Sausage King, Best Butchers Burger and the Apprentice of the Year. A great location and venue for the 2025 competition weekend hosted by Queensland
Friday, 21st February
- AMIC Guests / competitors arrive
- Apprentice finalists to complete theory and practical exam in the Wedderburn National Final.
- Welcome reception 6-9pm with 2-hour canape & 3-hour standard beverage package. A great chance to chat and network with other Butchers from all around Australia.
Ticket cost $95 per person (inc GST)
Saturday, 22nd February
- Sausage King and Best Butchers' Burger National Final Competition. The best in each State vie for National glory. A prestigious event and AMIC's hallmark competition on the annual Retail event calendar.
- Wedderburn Apprentice of the Year Mystery Box - witness the 7 best young Apprentices tackle the mystery box. A spectacular event and great showcase of our up and coming trade talent.
- Weekend culminates with the Ikon Pack Gala Awards Evening 6.30pm-11.30pm with a 3-course gala dinner & 5-hour standard beverage package.
