2025 Australian High Speed Rail Conference
Event description
The Australian Government is laying the foundation for high speed rail!
The High Speed Rail Association* is pleased to host its second high speed rail conference in Sydney. This year we welcome Tim Parker, CEO of the High Speed Rail Authority, the Australian Government agency tasked with planning, developing and overseeing a national high speed rail network.
The Authority has completed a business case for the proposed first stage connecting Newcastle to Sydney, the two largest cities in New South Wales. Tim Parker will provide a detailed update on HSR planning and outline the next steps in the delivery of this nationally significant program.
The 2025 High Speed Rail Conference will also provide an opportunity to hear updates from decision-makers and industry leaders on:
How HSR will deliver a sustainable and resilient future for Australians.
HSR's role in enabling long-term settlement and land use planning for Australia.
The importance of securing an East Coast corridor to lock in future land value uplift to support the funding of infrastructure.
HSR's contribution to economic development as Australia transitions from resources and population growth dependencies and embraces supply chain resilience, economic complexity and a Future Made in Australia.
The 2025 Conference will be followed by a networking event where attendees will have the opportunity to meet with keynote speakers and fellow delegates.
Don't miss Australia's only High Speed Rail Conference in 2025 at the Sydney Masonic Centre.
*Please note the High Speed Rail Association is a not-for-profit organisation and is not affiliated with the Australian Government’s High Speed Rail Authority.
