Turn upcycled felt scraps from the Beanie Festival into bold, wearable art in this fun, hands-on workshop with local artist Maggie Pereyra.

Learn to combine embroidery, beading, and playful design to craft funky earrings and brooches that express your unique style. In this 3-hour workshop, you’ll:
- Make up to two pieces of jewellery (earrings / brooch)
- Learn basic embroidery and beading techniques
- Explore creative design using felt offcuts

ABOUT YOUT TUTOR
Maggie Pereyra is an artist who loves to express herself through various mediums, including puppetry, toy art, textiles, jewelry, and performance. Her work delves into intricate worlds and explores life’s darker side with a playful twist. She strive to transport the audience to alternate realities, crafting stories and moments that feel uniquely ours. She is passionate about igniting the inner child in others and sharing whimsical, quirky ideas. Maggie's creations include puppet shows, roving performances, puppets, costumes and accessories and circus performances.
