Travel instructions

The National Art School’s main entrance and exit is accessible by foot at 156 Forbes Street, Darlinghurst NSW. For wheelchair and vehicle entry, access is required through the Burton Street entrance. If you are entering or exiting the campus through the Burton Street entrance by wheelchair or on foot, please follow the pedestrian crossing alongside Building 5. The NAS Gallery is fully wheelchair accessible, with a lift to the top floor. Accessible toilets are also available on site. For specific accessibility needs or to arrange accessible parking, it's recommended to contact us directly. Main Entrance: Accessible by foot at 156 Forbes Street. Wheelchair and Vehicle Access: Through the Burton Street entrance. NAS Gallery: Fully wheelchair accessible, with lift access to the upper gallery. Getting to NAS: Public Transport: NAS is located next to Taylor Square and is a two-minute walk from Oxford Street bus stops. Trains: A 10-minute walk from Kings Cross or Museum stations. Bikes: NAS is close to the Bourke Street cycleway and has bike racks. Parking: No on-campus parking is available, but paid parking is available on surrounding streets and at St Vincent's Hospital. Please check in at the registration desk, located near the Cell Block Theatre.

Toilet location

Toilets are located in Building 2 (behind NAS ArtBar & Kitchen) and on the ground floor of Building 11 in the Rayner Hoff Project Space. There is an accessible toilet in Building 3 next to our Security Office (enter via the roadway and turn right to follow it around the paved section to the toilet), the Rayner Hoff Project Space has an all-gender, accessible toilet. All-Gender, Accessible Toilet: Located in the Rayner Hoff Project Space.

Accessible parking

No on-campus parking is available, but paid parking is available on surrounding streets and at St Vincent's Hospital.
