2025 Entrepreneur Day of Action / Día de Acción del Emprendedor 2025

Join Center for Community Wealth Building, Good Business Colorado, Rocky Mountain MicroFinance Institute, and Small Business Majority for our 2025 Entrepreneur Day of Action! Speak up for a more equitable, sustainable, and prosperous Colorado together with other small business owners and entrepreneurs - no experience necessary! We’ll provide all the preparation and support you need to feel confident talking with state legislators about the issues that are important to you, your business, and your community. 

Activities include:

• Morning address from legislators 
• Advocacy training on how to take action 
• Small group floor lobbying
• Small group meetings with legislators
• Attending (and testifying at) committee hearings
• Tour of the Capitol building 

Feel free to attend any or all of the activities in this all-day event. In conjunction with the Day of Action event, you are also invited to attend an optional pre-event reception that will allow everyone the opportunity to meet fellow participants and gain valuable insights to prepare you for the day ahead. This optional pre-event will be held on February 19th at 10am via Zoom.

Limited travel stipends available for attendees outside the metro area. Please let us know if you need language or other special accommodations.

¡Participe en el Día de Acción del Emprendedor 2025 y únase a otros dueños de pequeños negocios y emprendedores para abogar por un Colorado más equitativo, sostenible y próspero! No se necesita experiencia previa: le proporcionaremos toda la preparación y el apoyo que necesita para sentirse seguro al hablar con legisladores estatales sobre los temas que son importantes para usted, su negocio y su comunidad. Este evento es organizado por el Center for Community Wealth Building, Good Business Colorado, Rocky Mountain MicroFinance Institute y el Small Business Majority.

Las actividades incluyen:

• Discurso de apertura a cargo de legisladores
• Capacitación en defensa y acción legislativa
• Cabildeo en grupos pequeños en el pleno
• Reuniones en pequeños grupos con legisladores
• Participación y testimonio en audiencias de comités
• Recorrido por el edificio del Capitolio

Puede asistir a una, dos, o todas las actividades durante este evento. Hay estipendios de viaje disponibles para quienes asistan desde fuera del área metropolitana (cupos limitados). Si necesita apoyo con el idioma u otras adaptaciones especiales, por favor avísenos. Esta capacitación opcional se llevará a cabo el 19 de febrero a las 10 a. m. de manera virtual.
