The Mission of the Export Controls Training and Conference is to help attendees understand the impact of legislative changes on their business. Attendees learn from experienced professionals on how to manage the risk of working with export-controlled technology whilst implementing best practices to uplift compliance.

Day One: Learn how US and Australian export controls can be complied with in practical ways that strive towards best-practice. Understand how updates to the ITAR, EAR and AU export controls influence your commercial contracts and hiring practices. Hear from expert about risk management, staff management, technology security, and other considerations you must consider when working with ITAR, EAR and AU export-controlled technology. Our presenters and panelists will offer insights on both pitfalls and best practices for organisations large, small and inbetween. Suitable for both industry and Commonwealth staff.

Day Two: Hear from US and AU Government representatives about how reforms to export controls have been implemented and what we can expect in 2025. Experts, insiders and your peers will present on the challenges of complying with export-controls and what we can do better as Australian industry to work with Government and one another when managing export-controlled technology.

Networking Dinner: Join us for a Networking dinner (separate ticket unless you buy the package) at the conclusion of Day One.

Networking Drinks: We are proud to co-host networking drinks with DIN immediately following the conference. This is a no-fee event. Canapes will be served.
