2025 HSRCA Summer Festival

The HSRCA Summer Festival will bring full field of classic, historic and vintage race cars to Sydney Motorsport Park November 29 - 30 for an action-packed finale to the 2025 historic motor racing season on Sydney's iconic grand prix circuit.

The meeting will offer races for most classic and historic classes as well as speed events for vehicles manufactured up to the 2010s and invited cars deemed compatible with those groups.

For our 2025 meeting we are pleased to welcome back Group U Historic Sports Sedans, and will also feature the Group S Enduro and the Dawson-Damer Trophy for 1960s open-wheel race cars.

Historic Sports Sedans back last came out in force at the 2022 HSRCA Summer Festival. In their day, these boundary-smashing machines thundered around Aussie racetracks, thrilling spectators in the hands of touring car legends like Moffat, Jane, McCormack, Richards, Grice and more. The legacy of these cars is still seen in modern Australian race cars, and the category still exists, running nationally, often under Shannons’ CAMS National Series.

The Group S endurance race is a beloved tradition of our summer meeting, and attracts a big field of classic sports cars as drivers challenge themselves across an extended race with a pit stop and driver change.

The Dawson-Damer Trophy for 1960s open-wheel race cars sees the perhaps our club's most iconic classic race vehicles compete for one of its most prestigious trophies and is not to be missed.

And that's not to mention all the other classes we're looking forward to seeing at the meeting, including the touring cars of Group N, the wings 'n slicks racers of Group Q & R, the tightly-packed racing of Formula Ford and Formula Vee and the wonderful variety of Regularity and Supersprint.
