Join us for a special evening as we celebrate 60 years of the University of Newcastle at the 2025 Hunter Alumni Celebration.

This milestone event will feature an inspiring 'In Conversation' with Brett Blacker, Managing Director for Australia and New Zealand at Duolingo. Brett will share his journey from Newcastle to leading one of the world’s most innovative education technology companies, and explore the future of language learning, communication, and the power of lifelong connections.

The evening is also a chance to reconnect with old friends, make new ones, and reflect on the impact our alumni have made across the Hunter region and beyond. Guests will enjoy food, drinks, and plenty of opportunities to reminisce and network in a relaxed, festive atmosphere.
