New.E (formerly NewH2) alongside HunterNet, is excited to host the third annual Hunter New Energy Symposium in Newcastle on 21-22 May 2025.

The Symposium is a cornerstone event for the region and features representatives from industry, government, research and capital markets. The 2025 event will provide key updates on the diverse range of New Energy opportunities in the Hunter region, as well as showcase the significant projects, investments and initiatives that are underway and in development.

At the end of the Symposium, attendees will have:

  • • Increased their understanding of new energy industries and future trends
  • • Connected with major projects and investment opportunities in the region
  • • Developed a deeper understanding of policy and projects that will impact the region
  • • Increased their awareness of emerging research and innovation and how to engage in research partnerships.
  • • Networked with other delegates and connect to a range of factors to enable “new energy readiness”
  • • Engaged in conversation related to future skills, standards, and workforce development.

Two Day Symposium, Networking Drinks (Wednesday Evening) and Industry Dinner (Thursday Evening)

Format:

  • Plenary sessions each morning covering the key themes of ‘Outlook and Enablers’ and ‘Projects and Partnerships’
  • Breakout sessions in the afternoon focussed on the ‘New Energy Future’ and the opportunities and challenges it presents.

Tickets:

  • Early bird before 31 Jan 2025 = $990 plus GST for the full conference package
  • From Feb 1 = $1,190 plus GST for the full conference package.
