Event description

Step into the heart of Mongolia with Day 1 of our Mini Naadam celebration — a vibrant showcase of music, movement, and tradition. Feel the rhythm with live Mongolian music and traditional dance and experience the graceful art of the Mongolian written script in action.

And festivities would not be complete without food, so come along and do some tastings of traditional Mongolian food!  Authentic Mongolian food will also be available for pre-orders. Details of where to order from will be updated here soon.

Whether you're playing, cheering, or just curious, there’s something for everyone, so come hungry for culture and cuisine.

Throughout Immersia as well, you can experience Mongolia in Canberra with a vivid display of Mongolian culture.

This is your chance to experience the spirit of Naadam, right here on campus.

This event, hosted by the ANU School of Culture, History & Language's flagship festival Immersia, is in collaboration with the ANU Mongolia Institute and the ANU Mongolia Students Society.
