Event description

Step into the heart of Mongolia with Day 1 of our Mini Naadam celebration — a vibrant showcase of music, movement, and tradition. Feel the rhythm with live Mongolian music and traditional dance, test your skills (or your luck) with knuckle-bone flicking and shagai fortune telling, and witness the raw power of Mongolian wrestling up close.

Whether you're playing, cheering, or just curious, there’s something for everyone — and yes, authentic Mongolian food will be available for pre-order, so come hungry for culture and cuisine.

This is your chance to experience the spirit of Naadam, right here on campus.

This event, hosted by the ANU School of Culture, History & Language's flagship festival Immersia, is in collaboration with the ANU Mongolia Institute and the ANU Mongolia Students Society.

Please note: If you require accessibility accommodations or a visitor Personal Emergency Evacuation Plan please contact the event organisers.
