2025 International Women in Engineering Day


The Women’s Research Engineers Network invites you to celebrate the 2025 International Women in Engineering Day. The event will be centred on the theme of “Together We Engineer – Building Better Careers and Workplaces”, where we will explore how diversity and inclusivity can foster success in the engineering workplace. The event will be a panel followed by networking.

  • Overcoming challenges and adversities in engineering careers

  • Prof. Judy Raper AM - Chemical Engineer, formerly Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Research and Innovation at University of Wollongong

  • Prof. Tim McCarthy - Honorary Professor in Sustainable Engineering, formerly Director of Sustainable Buildings Research Centre at University of Wollongong

  • Nathan McBriarty - Manager of Infrastructure Strategy & Planning


Join us for an insightful panel discussion. Our panel brings together engineers from academia and industry to share their experiences and insights.
