Event description

Join us for our annual International Women's Day luncheon on 7th March 2025!

Our guest speaker is Jacqui Bell, who grew up in Ipswich and attended Ipswich Girls Grammar School. Jacqui is an accomplished ultra-runner who has shattered a number of records. At just 23 years old, she became the youngest female to conquer Racing the Planet’s Four Desert Grand Slam, covering 250km across four of the world’s toughest deserts. In 2019, Jacqui made history again, becoming the youngest person to ever complete an ultra-marathon on all seven continents, including Antarctica.

With nearing over 100 ultra-marathons to her name, she has also taken on gruelling multi-stage races like the Wadi Rum Desert in Jordan, a 330km ultra across New Zealand, and a 273km mountain race in Slovenia. A passionate mental health advocate, Jacqui has raised over $25,000 for the White Cloud Foundation and inspires others through her retreats, Run Escapes Aus, which blend running, mindfulness, and resilience.

Sponsored by Jade Financial Group and Ipswich Girls' Grammar School, this event features a sumptuous three-course lunch, multi-draw raffle, and unrivalled networking opportunities.

Get your team together for this celebration of local women in business!
