2025 Jodo Championship and Seminar
Event description
The 2025 Jodo Championship and Seminar will be held from Saturday 12 April till Monday 14 April at Margate Primary School Hall, Van Morely Rd, Margate.
Japanese delegation consists of
Mitsuo Shiiya Sensei, Hanshi 8 Dan
Koro Fujisaki Sensei, Hanshi 8 Dan
Toshiro Tsuriga Sensei, Renshi 8 Dan,
Butsui Sensei, 6 Dan
Margate is approximately 20km (21 mins) from the centre of Hobart.
Grading will be offered up to 4 Dan. Kyu gradings are available through the TSR. The Dan gradings will occur on Saturday 12 April in the morning, followed by a seminar for the rest of the day. Competitions will be held on Sunday morning followed by the continuation of the Seminar. Monday training will conclude at 3:00pm.
5 Dans and above should be aware that they may be required for grading, dojo or shimpan duties and should bring business attire and flags.
There will be a dinner on the Sunday evening. Details later.
