2025 London Marathon Fundraiser

Hello!

I'm coming to Sydney to help raise money for my second Marathon in London on April 27th, 2025. This time I will be supporting Hope for Children/Chance for Childhood, and also Running for Premature Babies, in memory of our Avery. 

Hope for Children/Chance for Childhood creates opportunities for overlooked, vulernable and exploited children living in extreme poverty. Since 1992, they have been at the forefront of fighting for children in Africa and across the world. So when it came to choosing a UK charity this seemed a wonderful opportunity to make a difference to those who are vulernable, in keeping with the support we have for running for premature babies. 

Running for Premature Babies was founded by Sophie Smith in 2007 after she and her husband Ash lost all three of their prematurely born triplets. What began as a quest to run one Half Marathon and raise $20,000 for one new humidicrib for the hospital in memory of their boys, has grown into what is now the Running for Premature Babies Foundation. Running for Premature Babies has so far raised over $7 million for life saving neonatal equipment, funded research to solve the many mysteries of prematurity and advance the care of premature babies for the future. I fundraise for them in memory of our son Avery Gabriel, stillborn at 29 weeks, and in celebration of his surviving twin Flynn who was cared for in the NCIU. 

Please join me for this fun event, aptly presented by Funny Quiz (by a rather handsome chap in a tracksuit), and to support these 2 wonderful causes.

Single tickets can be bought for $30 on the below link, and we suggest arranging a table (between a min of 4 and a max of 10 mates) is best. 

We also have an offer to buy a Table Ticket (for up to 8 people) for $230! 

There will also be a raffle, and also some silent auction items to bid on during the evening.
