2025 Macedon Ranges Music Festival
Event description
The highly anticipated Macedon Ranges Music Festival (MRMF) 2025 is returning on Saturday, March 29, with an incredible line up of live music at the iconic Hanging Rock. As one of Victoria’s premier community-driven events, MRMF promises an unforgettable day of outstanding performances, delicious food, and a vibrant atmosphere—all while raising funds for the Cambodian Kids Foundation.
This year’s festival will be headlined by Emma Donovan, one of Australia’s most powerful and soulful voices, known for her deep connection to Indigenous culture and storytelling through music. Steph Strings, the dynamic fingerstyle guitarist and singer-songwriter, will captivate audiences with her internationally acclaimed show that has sold-out venues around the world. The ever-energetic Hot Potato Band will transform Hanging Rock into a New Orleans-style street party with their infectious, brass-driven grooves.
Joining them will be the soulful, blues-infused 9-piece band Fools, troubadour singer-songwriter Joshua Batten, and Son Quba, bringing the irresistible rhythms of traditional Cuban dance music to the festival's dance floor. And don't forget your cowboy hat—prepare for an interactive line dancing session with Country Struts Boot Scooting.
In addition to the incredible music line up, festival goers can enjoy a diverse range of delicious food stalls, local craft beverages, and family-friendly activities. MRMF continues its mission of doing it all for a great cause, with 100% of festival profits supporting the Cambodian Kids Foundation.
