2025 Minimbah Fair
Event description
The Minimbah Fair is Back in 2025!
This PFG-arranged event will occur on our Minimbah Oval after school on Friday 28th March 2023, from 3:20.
We warmly invite all members of the Woodleigh Community from across our three campuses to join us for a relaxed and enjoyable afternoon.
There are activities for everyone!
If you've never been to Minimbah - come! It's a perfect opportunity to visit and experience the atmosphere. For our beloved ex-students and families, we would love to see you again as you reacquaint yourselves with your 'old' primary campus. And, of course, our Minimnah community, we will see you there!
Come and enjoy the fun!
WHAT TO EXPECT:
There will be games, there will be rides, there will be food and heaps of live music, including our fabulous class performers. It'll be fun for the whole family!!
Think Petting Zoo, Mini Golf, Astroblaster, Lucky Jars, Choc tops and Loo Lobs, Zombie Spalash, Cake Stalls, Fuseball, Slushies, and a designated adults-only area and sooooo much more!
There will also be a separate raffle and an auction for a fabulous piece of artwork generously donated by Jennifer Croom 🙌
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
DO I NEED TO PREPURCHASE TICKETS?
You don’t need to pre-purchase tickets to come to the Minimbah Fair. If families buy tickets in advance they will be supporting the Minimbah Parents and Friends Group (PFG) to secure the food and drinks for the event, and pay external suppliers. We really do appreciate the support.
WHAT IS IN THE ADULTS-ONLY AREA?:
In this designated area, you will have the opportunity to chill with a mocktail and a pre-ordered cheese platter whilst your children run a muck!
Take note: Zero alcohol will be served at any event where children are present on any Woodleigh Campus. If you would like to pre-purchase a cheese platter, please do so at the checkout.
WHERE DO THE PROCEEDS GO?
First and foremost, the tickets and purchases made at the Minimbah Fair 2025 pay for putting on this fantastic evening for our children, friends and families. Bringing our community together to have heaps of fun is our number one priority!
Additional funds raised will go towards PFG events throughout the year, including the Cross Country Sausage Sizzle, the School Disco, Mother’s Day Celebration, Father's Day Breakfast and the Beach Picnic days at the end of the year. There are many smaller events the PFG hosts for the children throughout the year (e.g. fruit platters and icy poles at the Mini Olympics, meat pies on Footy Day) that are also covered by our fundraising efforts. All funds raised by the raffle will go towards upgrading the AV equipment in the Hall.
CAN I BUY TICKETS ON THE DAY?
Yes, however please note that limited tickets will be made available for purchase at on the gate. We recommend that you buy them beforehand.
WILL THERE BE RIDES?
Unfortunately no. The risks associated with inflatable and motorised rides are too significant, hence our pivot to the "country fair" theme.
DO YOU NEED ANY HELP?
The PFG are looking for any donations for the raffle as well as book donations for the second hand book stall. If you can help please with either of these, please drop off at Minimbah reception, Penbank reception or the Community Relations Office at the Senior Campus.
We Hope to See You There!
