About the Performance
Theatre Redlands will present the 2025 Queensland Day Play at Redlands Coast Museum.
Summer of the Seventeenth Doll is an Australian play written by Ray Lawler. The play is set in an old house in Carlton, Melbourne, in early December of 1953. explores the long term relationship between two larrikin Queensland cane cutters - Roo and Barney - and the women they visit every year in the off season - Olive, Bubba and Pearl. In this final Summer all awaken to middle-age and realise that things have or must change.

Day Performances
Lunch will be served promptly at 12.00pm | The Curtain will rise at 1.00pm | Concludes at 3.30pm
Evening Performances
Dinner will be served promptly at 6.00pm | The Curtain will rise at 7.00pm | Concludes at 9.30pm

Hearty Minestrone Soup with warm bread roll
Dessert:
Sticky date pudding with butterscotch sauce and dollop of cream
Seating for Lunch / Dinner and Show
When booking your tickets, there are three steps to select your seating:
- Choose the attendee ticket - Select the attendee ticket from the available list
- Lunch / Dinner Seating - Choose your table and seating position for each attendee from the Lunch / Dinner seating map. Please note that the table layout may vary on the night.
- Show Seating - Select your row and seat number from the Show seating map for each attendee. Our air-conditioned, single-tier theatre-style seating is allocated and confirmed upon payment, and cannot be changed after booking.

Enjoy a delicious two-course meal surrounded by fascinating museum exhibits. Please note that table arrangements may vary, adding a unique touch to your dining experience.
