RHH Research Foundation International Women's Day Breakfast 2025

Join us for Tasmania’s largest International Women’s Day event as we honour all women, while raising funds and awareness for medical research in Tasmania.

We are thrilled that Thea Fairbrother, a renowned business leader and philanthropist, will be joining us as the guest speaker for this year’s event. Beginning her career as a nurse, Thea quickly changed direction to become the co-founder of Fairbrother – a national construction company. More recently she has been instrumental in driving initiatives to support improved mental health services in Tasmania, to make a lasting impact on those in need.

Thea will take the stage at Crowne Plaza Hobart on Friday 7 March to share her experiences.

International Women’s Day is a global day of celebrating women's achievements, raising awareness of discrimination and challenging gender disparity.

The Royal Hobart Hospital Research Foundation's breakfast is the perfect opportunity to come together and commemorate whilst raising funds for medical research that benefits the local community and beyond.
