The Inaugural Round for Ryan – Saturday 26 July vs Aquinas

Hale School will proudly host the inaugural Round for Ryan on Super Saturday, 26 July, as we take on Aquinas. This special round honours the memory of Year 12 student Ryan Murphy, who tragically lost his battle with Glioblastoma, a rare and aggressive brain cancer, in early 2023.

In Ryan’s memory, we are raising funds for the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research, whose scientists are working on ground-breaking research into Glioblastoma and other major diseases affecting our community. Ryan had a personal connection to the Institute, having been involved in their Perkins Professor’s Academy.
