2025 S-BFF&FS ACCESSIBLE FILMMAKING WORKSHOP - Afternoon
Event description
If you are Neurodivergent, aged between 14 and 17 and you love making films then this is the filmmaking workshop for you!!!
Join accessible filmmaking specialist Tim Grubisic to learn everything there is to know about Mise en scène, a French term that refers to everything you see in a scene of a movie or TV show — how the director arranges the space, the actors, and everything else to tell the story.
It’s like setting up the perfect scene in a video game, where every detail helps explain what’s going on.
Your tutor, Tim Grubisic is a Sydney-based filmmaker dedicated to inclusivity in storytelling. With a strong belief that every voice deserves to be heard, he incorporates this principle into his filmmaking process. Over the years, Tim has gained experience in a wide range of roles across short films, web series, documentaries, and promotional content.
At S-BFF&FS, we know Tim as an outstanding workshop leader for groundbreaking accessible filmmaking organisation, Bus Stop Films.
Workshop Education Support:
Tim will be joined by Penrith local, longtime creative industries practitioner, S-BFF&FS Founder/Director, Kirstie Boerst who is an experienced education support officer who is driven to help build a strong, creative, inclusive and resilient community in Penrith.
