About this home

This 1950s home has been transformed into an energy-efficient, sustainable space with a 7kW solar array, hybrid inverter, battery backup, hot water heat pump, and solar lighting. Recent upgrades include shade sails, a heat extractor, and a backup power system for blackouts. The owner also charges their MG ZS electric car at home, reflecting a strong commitment to sustainability.

You will need to book a ticket for a specific tour time. This is due to capacity restraints set by the homeowner to ensure the safety of all parties on the day. If you do not arrive at this time you will not be able to tour the home.

Renew is a small not for profit organisation that needs to raise money from ticket sales to cover the costs of hosting this event. In some cases the ticket revenue may also be split with the homeowner.
