About this home

A modest extension to a small home adds two flexible studios or bedrooms while preserving trees and garden spaces. Positioned to maximise sunlight and solar passive performance, the design uses timber framing, zero carbon cladding, and FSC timber double glazing to minimise environmental impact. Retaining the existing house and converting to all-electric systems further reduces carbon emissions, while rainwater harvesting and solar panels support a more sustainable lifestyle.

You will need to book a ticket for a specific tour time. This is due to capacity restraints set by the homeowner to ensure the safety of all parties on the day. If you do not arrive at this time you will not be able to tour the home.

The exact house address will be emailed to you in the days before the event. Suburb and postcode information is displayed on your ticket.

Renew is a small not for profit organisation that needs to raise money from ticket sales to cover the costs of hosting this event. In some cases the ticket revenue may also be split with the homeowner.
