The Spiritual Foundations that Guide Leadership in Catholic Education
Tuesday 5 August | 6:00pm for a 6:30pm start. The event will conclude at 7:30pm.
Associate Professor Paul Kidson is the National Course Coordinator for the Master of Educational Leadership degree at the Australian Catholic University. He is one of the leading researchers on Australia’s largest and longest running principal wellbeing research project, the Australian Principal Occupational Health, Safety, and Wellbeing Survey, as well as a frequent media commentator on educational matters. Prior to becoming an academic, he was a school principal for over 11 years.
This presentation will explore how Catholic educational leaders are called to lead with purpose, integrity and a deep sense of mission. Grounded in faith and informed by the Catholic tradition, Dr Kidson will highlight the importance of servant leadership, discernment and fostering communities built on dignity, compassion and hope.
