FUN, MIXED, SOCIAL 7 WEEK TOUCH FOOTBALL COMPETITION | MOSMAN JUNIOR RUGBY CLUB @ RAWSON

Competition Dates: Wednesday 15th October - Thursday 27th November 2025
Format: 7 a side Mixed Touch Football
Players per team: 9-11
Age Groups: We play in school year groups (if you're in Year 3 - you're in Year 3 😉)
Team Payment Includes 9 players - $115 per player = $1035/team
Additional Players - $115/each (please contact us and we will send you a seperate link).
Family Comp Payment for 10 players (child plays for free if registered already) - $575/team
DUE TO POPULAR DEMAND - Girls Development Division - 6- 6:30pm on Thursday nights.
TRAINING SESSION FOR GIRLS - We are also hosting a Training Session for the girls with Charlotte Sparks NSW U18 Rugby player from Mosman. Monday 13th at Rawson. Limited spaces.

How to secure your team's spot -
Teams to have a Manager, it's that Manager's responsibility to register and pay for the entire team.
Due to the growing number of teams entering our competition each year we have been forced to accept entries on a first in first served basis. Your position in the competition is not secure until we have received your entry form, full registration fee and all your team's individual player registration.
We do not accept individual payments.
Managers need to fill in this Team Registration Form and for insurance purposes each individual player needs to fill in an Individual Player Registration Form which we will email to you once your team's spot has been paid for.
PLEASE NOTE FIRST TEAMS PAID & REGISTERED PER YEAR GROUP GET PRIORITY.
Other teams will be waitlisted and be notified once registrations close.
*Please be advised that all game times are an indication only and are TBC when registrations close and draw is released. If there aren't enough teams in one division, the time slot may be split for another year group - Managers will be notified.
*Please note Thursday 6pm session has changed to a girls only comp due to feedback.
Common Questions:
Is Registration by age? Ie: U7’s?
No – registration is by school year group only.
Can my child play in a different year group?
It is recommended that players are enrolled in their school Year. Playing down a year group is not permitted, playing up (one year only) is permitted.
Do the teams have to be single sex or mixed?
Teams can be made up of all boys, all girls or mixed. Except for the girls competition your team must be all female.
We strongly advise having 9 players (2 reserves) but you are welcome to have more if you don't want to leave anyone out. No minimum ratios required. ie: can be all one sex, can be 7 boys, 2 girls etc. It is at the Managers discretion.
Teams will all play in their designated school year group.
My team is short on players?
If you form a team and are short of players, please email us with your team name and requirements. MJRC will make every effort to put you in touch with individuals looking for a team after regos close, but takes no responsibility to finalise teams. If you only wish to play with 7 then the payment remains the same.
What does my child wear to play?
Any comfortable active wear and trainers (no football boots allowed). Your team should all wear the same t-shirt colour. We suggest purchasing team tees from somewhere like K-Mart or Big W or just wearing your school's sport shirt.
Headgear and mouthguard are not required. No football boots are to be worn. Sneakers MUST be worn.
Do you need to know how to play?
There is no grading, and we welcome all abilities.
Do we need a Team Manager?
Yes, teams will not be able to be registered without a Team Manager. All teams are to be formed and the team fees to be paid by the team manager.
The Team Manager will be our sole point of contact for all comms and information.
Team substitutions on game day are to be managed by the team manager.
When will the draw be sent to us?
We will aim to get the draw out to all teams by the Manager’s Night, so you know exactly when you’re playing and who for the season.
Will there be a food offering available on Touch nights?
Yes, the best BBQ in town will be serving dinner at Rawson on Wednesday and Thursday nights, and the canteen will be pumping.

Team payments are $1035 this includes 9 players. You can have 7 players and TBC the other 2 if you need time to confirm. You are also welcome to add more.
Non-registered players cannot play. If they do your team risks getting asked to leave the club.
Active Kids Vouchers are not able to be used.
No refunds on registrations.
MJRC are unable to form or manage teams.
MJRC makes no guarantees that there will be teams looking for players, or individuals looking for teams.
Mosman Council does not allow dogs on the oval nor do we for safety reasons - thank you for your understanding.
