Event description

The TICT invites you to its seventh edition of the Tourism Collective Luncheon. This important event for our industry is hosted during the week of International Women's Day, and is about celebrating, honouring, and challenging the role of Tasmanian women in tourism, as well as the industries which connect with and support it.

To explore the IWD2025 theme of #AccelerateAction, we will hear from two incredible speakers - Dr Terri Simpkin and Amanda Rose.

Amanda will delve into the opportunities and challenges within small business and the female leadership journey. We’ll then hear from Dr Terri Simpkin who will flip the narrative on imposter syndrome (which she refers to as imposter phenomenon) and instead focus on the societal pressures and expectations as well as the efforts that workplaces can take to foster positive environments. Plus, you'll have the chance to have your questions answered in an audience Q&A facilitated by TICT CEO, Amy Hills.

TICT is honoured to have a longstanding relationship with Dress for Success Tasmania as the charity partner for this event. You can make a donation at checkout when purchasing your ticket and we'll also be running a raffle at the event. Tickets can be purchased on the day (Eftpos only). If you are interested in donating a raffle prize, please contact TICT's Bella Alcorso via email: bella.alcorso@tict.com.au
