Entries into the 2025 Senior Club Championships are now open!
Get ready for one of the biggest highlights of our tennis calendar—the Senior Club Championships!
Whether you're a seasoned competitor or just love a friendly match, this event is perfect for all skill levels. It’s a fantastic chance to play some exciting tennis, catch up with fellow members, and enjoy delicious food and drinks along the way.
Following the popular format from previous years, we’ll have opening rounds leading up to an action-packed Finals Weekend.
Save the Dates!
Opening Rounds:
- Friday, 21 March – Mixed Doubles | 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Sunday, 23 March – Singles | 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Friday, 28 March – Doubles | 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Finals Weekend:
- Saturday, 3 May – Mixed Doubles, Doubles, and Singles Semi-Finals
- Sunday, 4 May – Mixed Doubles, Doubles, and Singles Finals
All categories will feature both a Main Draw and a Plate Draw, so there's plenty of tennis to be played and prizes to be won!
Players must be available for finals weekend should they make the semi-finals and finals.
Need a partner?
If you’d like to play in Mixed Doubles or Doubles but don’t have a partner, simply tick the “Partner Wanted” box on your entry form, and we’ll help match you up!
How to enter:
Click on Get Tickets, and you'll be able to choose the event you're interested in—Mixed Doubles, Doubles, Singles, or all of them. Entry is free of charge.
Eligibility:
All players must be current financial members of Waikanae Beach Tennis Club. Junior members are eligible if they participate in a senior interclub competition or senior representative events.
Food & Refreshments:
We will have a range of tasty treats and drinks available throughout the tournament. CASH ONLY.
