2025 Watchalunga Planting Day - Sunday 17 August
Event description
Join us for a hands-on day for nature conservation!
Following the postponement of the original date due to the weather, we have rescheduled this planting and hope you can come along!
This is a great opportunity to not only visit one of our nature reserves, but take part in practical conservation action with like-minded people.
Free event
9am for a 9:30am start, including Acknowledgement of Country.
Morning tea and lunch provided, please advise dietary requirements upon ticket registration.
Children are very welcome however they must be under parent or adult guardian supervision.
Limited places available, please ensure you register tickets for all attendees in your group.
More information and full details including specific location, access requirements and what to bring will be emailed to all registered attendees prior to the event.
As this is a practical planting event, involving digging holes, carrying seedlings etc, a good degree of physical fitness and movement is required. If you would like to discuss your ability to be involved in this, or other volunteering opportunities with Nature Foundation, please contact us.
