Tour 2 – Agricultural Excellence - the Future of Ag

This tour is perfect for those curious about the intersection of research, technology, and sustainable food production. This tour explores research, technology, and sustainable food production. At Adelaide University Roseworthy Campus, participants will meet farmers and researchers focused on helping agriculture adapt to a changing climate. Discussions will cover R&D projects on livestock adaptation, emissions reduction, and grain industry strategies for managing risk. Kate McCabe will share practical insights on farm-level sustainability reporting. The tour also includes a visit to glasshouse facilities at the Australian Grain Technologies (AGT) plant breeding centre to learn about advances in genetics and plant breeding.

Tour 4 - Exploring SA’s Finest

Discover the rich flavours and traditions of South Australia’s finest primary producers and Ag businesses on this immersive tour through Adelaide, where history, innovation, and exquisite flavours come together. Starting with the legendary RM Williams - immerse yourself in the artistry behind R.M.Williams' iconic products, as you meet the craftspeople whose skilled hands bring them to life.
