Sphere is thrilled to announce our 2026–27 season, a vibrant journey through music, place, history, and imagination. From youthful masterpieces and architectural soundscapes to holiday favorites, newly discovered works, and music inspired by the natural world, this season invites audiences to hear familiar ideas in unexpected ways.

Forever Young
Oct 2, 2026 | 7:30pm | First Universalist Church of Denver
Oct 3, 2026 | 7:30pm | Stewart Auditorium, Longmont
Sphere opens the season with music written by composers when they were young. Featuring Josef Suk’s Serenade for Strings, written when he was just 18, alongside early works by Mozart, Schubert, Lady Gaga, Mendelssohn, Otis Redding, Alma Deutscher, Brahms, and more.

Architecture

Nov 8, 2026 | 3:00pm | Mountain View United Methodist Church, Boulder
Sphere explores the spaces in which we live and listen to music. Featuring works by Caroline Shaw, Debussy, Radiohead, Beethoven, and more, Architecture invites you to hear what humanity has built in an entirely new way.

Feb 7, 2027 | 3:00pm | Boulder Valley Unitarian Universalist Fellowship
Sphere welcomes guitarist Nicolò Spera for a musical journey filled with discovery. Featuring two world premieres newly unearthed in Italy by 20th century Italian composer Mario Barbieri, Leo Brouwer’s Beatlerianas, Boccherini’s Fandango, and more, Souvenirs is a thrilling pairing of string orchestra and guitar.

The Four Elements

Sphere closes the season with music inspired by air, water, fire, and earth. Featuring excerpts from The Firebird, plus music by Gustav Holst, Johnny Cash, Edvard Grieg, and more, The Four Elements brings the season to a powerful close.

Please note our holiday concert Bells and Bows is not included on the season subscription.
