2026 ACTS Conference: Student Registrations

In 2026, the ACTS Conference: The Future of Sustainability returns in person for a special milestone — 20 years of ACTS and two decades of sustainability action across tertiary education.

Hosted by Griffith University on the Gold Coast, the conference is a unique opportunity for students to connect with sustainability professionals, academics, leaders and other students from across Australia and New Zealand.

Across 27–30 October, you’ll hear practical ideas, explore real-world sustainability challenges and learn how institutions are taking action across campus operations, strategy, teaching, research and community engagement. It’s also a chance to build your network, discover different sustainability career pathways and hear directly from people already working to create change across the sector.

Whether you’re studying sustainability, climate, education, business, science, the built environment — or simply want to be part of creating a more sustainable future — you’re welcome.

This year’s 20th anniversary conference is about more than looking back. It’s an opportunity to meet the people shaping what comes next, contribute your own perspective and leave with new ideas, connections and inspiration for the future.

Students are invited to attend for either:

• a single day (either Wednesday 28th October OR Thursday 29th October)

• the whole conference (without attending the Green Gown Awards)

• the whole conference (including the Green Gown Awards)

Please note:

Student tickets are only available for full-time undergraduate students in 2026. Students will be asked for verification of their student status prior to purchase.
