FAQs

• What do I get with my ticket purchase?

  One opportunity drawing ticket, hors d'oeuvres, fine wine, local beer, local non- alcoholic drinks, live music by The Disco Chickens for the classic party, cello by Maren Askins for the cocktail party, dancing, and a photo booth.

• Dress attire

  Snowpine Lodge is an upscale establishment. We ask that men at least wear a collared shirt and slacks - no jeans, please. We encourage you to dress to impress!

• Parking availability at Snowpine Lodge

  Parking at Snowpine is limited, please consider booking a free shuttle

• Shuttle Information

  Alta Shuttle will again donate van service to the Alta Gala to/from locations in the Town of Alta and from the mouth of the canyon for free. Schedule your shuttle from the mouth: reservations@altashuttle.com or call 801-274-0225 by Tuesday, March 31st. - Shuttle Times: Park and Ride up the canyon at 4:45 pm, 7 pm and 7:30 pm. Downhill will be 6:30 , 9:30, 10:30, and 11:00. For Alta Residents, to get around the Town of Alta: Call the Alta Night Shuttle driver 801-301-0122 a few minutes before you want to be picked up. Space is limited and reservations are based on first come first serve basis. Tips are encouraged

• Will food be served?

  Due to the social nature of this event, we are offering heavy appetizers. The Alta Gala is not a sit down dinner. Seating is "open" unless you purchase a sponsorship table.

  Seating is "open" unless you purchase a sponsorship table.

• Silent Auction

  There will be a small, in person, silent auction.

• Discount to stay at Snowpine Lodge for the night

• Opportunity Drawing Information

  You will be entered into the opportunity drawing with one (1) ticket or two(2) tickets if you purchased both party ticket option. Opportunity drawing items: Powderbird heli-skiing adventure for two (2) OR one (1) Alta Ski Area 2026-2027 Season Pass Drawing Date: April 14, 2026 at Noon

• What music will be playing at the event?

  Cocktail Party will have live cello music from Maren Askins. Classic Gala Party will have live music from Disco Chickens.

• Transferring a ticket to someone else's name

  Once you purchase your ticket you will get a confirmation email. You should be able to edit the name on the ticket from that email on the website. Or you can reach out to Tara Morin at tara@friendsofalta.org to change the name.

• What photobooths will be available?

  Cocktail party will have a photobooth by Hand Drawn Photobooth. Classic party will have 360 photobooth available.
