Global Solidarity Dinner - Sydney 2026

Join us in Sydney for internationalism's night of nights at our annual Union Aid Abroad-APHEDA Global Solidarity Dinner.

While the powerful few continue to push back against solidarity, workers everywhere are coming together, organising and building a fairer, more just world. It’s that time of year when we celebrate collective action, informed by empathy, stretching across borders.

Join us at our annual dinner to celebrate what we’ve achieved together and hear more about the impact we’re building through global solidarity on Friday, 4 September 2026, at the Sydney Masonic Centre from 6:00 pm.

Keynote Speaker - Elly Rosita Silaban, President of the Confederation of Indonesian Workers Union (KSBSI).

Elly is a leading advocate for workers’ rights in Indonesia, with a strong focus on organising informal economy workers and advancing a just transition that ensures climate action creates decent work and leaves no worker behind.

Ticket purchase includes the night's entertainment and a marvellous three-course meal prepared in the on-site restaurant (all dietary needs can be accommodated). Drinks will be available to purchase at bar prices. 

We will have fantastic prizes up for grabs in our auctions and raffle, featuring unique international and union items you can't get anywhere else.
