2026 Blues Dinner

The annual Blues Dinner celebrates and honours the incredible achievements of our student athletes and volunteers each year.

A University Blue is an award earned by sportsmen and women who are studying at University, competing in the highest-level sporting competition and have achieved outstanding sporting achievement. University Golds are awarded to any person in recognition of outstanding and sustained service to Sydney Uni Sport or a Sydney Uni Sport Club over a period of at least seven years. The new Blue and Gold recipients are garbed in their blazers at the annual dinner in front of a host of former Blue and Gold recipients. The night includes a panel discussion from some of our most illustrious athletes and sports administrators.

This year’s event will also feature the Conferral of an Honorary Doctor of Laws to John Coates AC for his lifelong service to Australian and international sport.
