The Australian Swim Schools Association (ASSA), in collaboration with Aquatic Recreation Institute (ARI), is hosting an inspiring event that brings together leaders from the aquatics industry. This event is dedicated to celebrating women and empowering career pathways within our sector.

    Victoria Rich

    Victoria Rich is an on-the-pulse leader in the aquatic space. Owing a mobile swim school, SWIM RECRUIT, manages an indoor centre Elixr Swim School, and oversees surf instructor compliance at Let’s Go Surfing, one of Australia’s biggest surf schools. Passionate about community, she has just wrapped up 7 years volunteering as Operations Manager for Bondi Girls Surf Riders and currently serves as a children’s minister at Bondi Anglican Church.

    Clotilde Doxaras

    Clotilde Doxaras has been part of the aquatics industry for over 15 years. Since 2019, she has been Swim School Manager at C&M Aquatic Centre in Padstow. Clotilde is a certified Trainer, delivering Swim Teacher courses and supporting the next generation of industry professionals. She is a recognised voice in the national conversation around water safety, featuring on Sunrise and in The Sydney Morning Herald to discuss swimming participation, benchmarks and curriculum reform. Through leadership, training and advocacy, Clotilde remains committed to strengthening learn to swim outcomes and advancing water safety standards across Australia.

  • Michele Eason

    Michele Eason

    Michele is the General Manager of BlueFit Swimming, overseeing 45+ facilities and 55,000 weekly students. Starting as a swim teacher in 1999, she has navigated private, management company, and council managed swim schools, gaining deep insight into inclusive programming and strategic leadership, and is now driving operational excellence in aquatic education nationwide.

  • Erin McMullan

    Erin McMullan

    Erin is a long term industry professional with over 25 years of experience in Swim Schools. She is a Swim School owner, Industry Educator and passionate advocate for water safety. She leads with integrity, high standards and heart – developing strong teams while creating safe, supportive, inclusive environments for children and families. Alongside running her swim school, she is committed to professional development and raising standards across the industry.
