Join us for an unforgettable afternoon of connection, laughter, and inspiration at the postponed inaugural Brigidine College Long Lunch — now rescheduled and more meaningful than ever.
In celebration of International Women’s Day and our 2026 Year of Justice, we warmly invite our alumnae, families, and wider Brigidine community to come together in the spirit of empowerment and sisterhood.
Enjoy a delicious two-course meal, a three-hour drinks package, and the company of like-minded community who value justice, compassion, and connection. With fabulous raffle prizes and a warm, welcoming atmosphere, it’s the perfect chance to relax, catch up, and celebrate what brings us together.
We’re thrilled to announce that the fabulous Robyn Read (Class of 1991) will return to Brigidine as our MC for this year’s Long Lunch! With her brilliant storytelling flair and decades of experience across publishing and communications, Robyn is guaranteed to bring energy, charm, and plenty of laughs to the day.
She’ll be joined by our sensational entertainer, Jenny Wynter, making this an unforgettable afternoon of great food, fabulous company, and entertainment that will leave you buzzing. Jenny is an internationally award-winning comedian, author, and performer, Jenny brings heart, humour, and hard-won wisdom to the stage. Drawing on her extraordinary life story — from childhood grief and personal upheaval to performing as a Clown Doctor — Jenny will explore how laughter can become a superpower in the face of life’s curveballs.
In her signature uplifting and hilarious style, Jenny will help us navigate uncertainty with resilience, courage, and joy — values that echo our Brigidine commitment to justice and compassion.

Drawing on her award‑winning comedy chops and brilliantly quirky life stories, Jenny Wynter mixes laughter, heart, and handy coping tricks to turn tough topics into energising moments that lift spirits, spark resilience, and help people face life’s curveballs with confidence.

- Are children able to attend the Long Long?
No. This is a licensed event open to adults (18+) only
- Is this lunch just for women?
No. We encourage all our adult community to attend the Long Lunch. Parents; Alumnae; Grandparents, and friends of the Brigidine Community.
- Where can I pre-purchase raffle tickets?
For those members of our Brigidine Community tickets can be purchased through My Monitor.
Under "College Shop - College Activities (incl. Fundraisers)" you will find the Long Lunch Raffle Tickets. Tickets start at $5 each.
- What is the dress code?
Smart/Cocktail. Come dressed for a garden party or if you're heading to the races. A great excuse to dress up!
