Racial Justice Candidate Forum

For the 8th year, BRJE is bringing together candidates for the Brookline Select Board, School Committee, and BHA Commission. Candidates will be asked to share their personal experiences, articulate policy positions, and provide concrete solutions to advance racial equity in Brookline. This is an important moment ahead of May's election to hear directly from candidates before you vote.

We're shaping our questions with input from the community. Submit your questions here.

BRJE was founded in 2016 as a grassroots, community-based organization to address issues of racial inequity in Brookline and to build a multiracial coalition to dismantle structural racism. In 2023, we incorporated as a 501(c)(3) non-profit to strengthen and sustain our long-term mission of eliminating racism in Brookline. Learn more at BRJE.org.
