2026 Central Queensland Housing, Health and Homelessness Forum

Across Central Queensland, the pressures on housing, health, and social services continue to grow. Responding to homelessness requires more than crisis responses, it requires coordinated systems that bring together housing, health, and community services to support people before, during, and after homelessness.

This theme focuses on moving beyond fragmented responses and building a coordinated regional system that:

• increases access to housing
• integrates health and social supports
• strengthens collaboration across services
• uses data to understand and respond to need
• supports long-term solutions rather than short-term fixes

The forum will explore practical approaches to building a regional system that works for people experiencing homelessness.
