On Thursday, 5 February, our REDxYouth (Victorian Youth Branch) and Youth Advisory Committee will host a Disastrous Dinner picnic event on the rooftop of our National Head Office in Docklands, Victoria. We aim at bringing together passionate young people to learn about disaster preparedness in a fun and engaging way. It’s an exciting milestone in building and consolidating the Victorian section of our Youth Branch.

The event will include a 3 courses picnic dinner during which participants will learn about disaster preparedness and will redact their own emergency plan working through the Australian Red Cross app GET PREPARED working from a heat-related disaster as a scenario.

Multiple stands will be there presenting different ARC programs and the service they bring to the wider community.

The event is totally free and will take place from 5:30pm to 8pm.
