Andrew is an accomplished CEO with a strong track record of leading complex, high-profile organisations through transformation, disruption and growth. He is a clear and accountable leader known for vision setting, building trust with stakeholders and delivering results in challenging environments. Andrew brings deep expertise across professional sport, strategy, media rights, and commercial negotiations, with proven capability in governance, deal-making and public leadership.

As CEO, Andrew led the transformation of the National Rugby League (NRL) into one of Australia’s most watched and commercially successful professional sports competitions. Appointed during the COVID-19 pandemic, he safely returned the game to play ahead of other major Australian sports, stabilised the organisation through significant financial disruption, and reset the long-term trajectory of the sport. He has repositioned the NRL for sustainable commercial growth and international relevance.

Andrew has led multiple media rights negotiations including a record seven-year $5.3 billion agreement, the largest broadcast and media partnership in Australian sporting history. He has overseen the design of rights packages focused on long-term value creation, global expansion, fan experience protection, and alignment between broadcasters, clubs and players.

Previously he held leadership positions at Deloitte and has worked in corporate finance, advisory, business education and sport.
