The Grounds 2026 Easter Egg Cracking Eggs-Travaganza

Are you ready for a cracking good time? Join us at The Grounds of Alexandria for our annual Easter Egg Cracking Eggs-travaganza, where we'll break open a massive 1-tonne milk chocolate creation, crafted by the team at Hugos Chocolates and share the pieces with everyone. It's a celebration so sweet, it's guaranteed to crack a smile!

Your ticket includes:

• A kids DJ spinning energetic tunes, and fun family entertainment to keep the energy buzzing.

• A chance to meet the Easter Bunny, he's all ears and full of fun!

• Prizes for the best dressed, so hop to it and show off your best Easter outfit.

• Be there to witness the cracking of Australia’s biggest Easter egg, starting between 6:30pm and 7pm – it’s truly an eggs-traordinary sight!

• Loads of delicious milk chocolate egg pieces to take home and share.

Looking for more than just chocolate? The Garden will be open throughout the evening, with a range of food and drinks available for purchase, so you can grab a bite, settle in, and make a night of it while the festivities unfold.

Important Information

• Entry will be via the Bourke Road, with gates opening at 5pm. There'll be lots of fun things to do before the Easter Egg Crack begins between 6:30pm and 7pm.

• Everyone attending this event will need a ticket, but please only purchase the number of tickets you need, so more families can join the fun!

• All tickets at this event are general admission.

• Remember that parking and transport in the area can be challenging, so plan accordingly!

• Can't make it? No worries! Refunds are available up to 72-hours before the event.

• This event will be held outdoors and will go ahead rain or shine, so please dress for the weather.

• Sorry, pets are not allowed at this event!

• For the best experience, we recommend leaving prams in the car as space is limited. An unmanned pram parking service will also be available in The Atrium.
