Hello Sydney and NSW Partners! 

Join our in-person meeting and say hello to your peers across the community digital inclusion space.

Have a fun time connecting with us, learning how to teach and use AI in your digital skills programs, and solve your questions about my.GoodThings site. Hosted at one of our AI Hubs, this is one of two planned meetups happening in Sydney in May 2026.

All members of the Good Things Australia community are invited to this free event, including all our Network Partners, digital mentors, tutors and digital inclusion program coordinators.

Places are limited, please register now to avoid disappointment!

Please bring your own device (phone, tablet or laptop) to use in the activities.

  • How long does the event go for?

    Event registrations begin at 9:30 am for a 10:00 am event start. The event will conclude at 11:30 am.

  • I can't make it to this event. Can I join online, and will it be recorded?

    This event is in-person only and won't be recorded. 

    You could try attending our second Sydney Meetup also being held in May.

  • How much does it cost to attend?

    This event is free to attend. But, please register to book your place.

  • Who can attend this Meetup?

    This Meetup is for staff and volunteers from organisations who wish to close the digital divide. If you are one of our existing Network Partners, a digital mentor, a program coordinator or a community organisation wanting to get involved to close the digital divide, this event is for you.

    This event is not designed for people who need help to learn digital skills and get support themselves to get online. 

  • How do I get there?

    This event is being held in the Computer Class room (Room 6) at Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Community College.

    Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Community College is within walking distance of Hornsby train station. Please note parking may be limited. You can find further directions on their website.

    Once you arrive, follow the signs or ask staff to direct you to the Good Things meetup.

  • Is this event catered?

    Light morning tea will be available on arrival. Please note no food is allowed in the meeting room.

  • How many tickets can I book for my organisation?

    Due to the small size of this Meetup and limited tickets available, you may only book 1 ticket per organisation. If you would like to send multiple people to this event, please contact us for alternative arrangements.
