2026 Hope Camp
Event description
Everyone who calls Door of Hope home and our extended community are invited to join us for the March long weekend to our annual camp.
Hope Camp is an experience of community that enables us to build deeper connections that continue throughout the year. We see our children form wonderful friendships, families develop close bonds and the richness of intergenerational connection.
Here’s what you need to know if you are new:
Our rhythm is to have community events spaced out across the weekend so everyone can participate while leaving lots of free time for people to join with others, go and enjoy bike rides, or trips to the Berry Patch, games of golf or whatever takes your fancy. The trick is to find others to invite along.
Campers provide their own food and we encourage hospitality so mealtimes are an opportunity to share food with others organically.
Registration includes the site (a patch of grass), power, water, access to a fully equipped camp kitchen (including microwaves, stoves, fridges, amenities block with individual toilets and showers ($1 coins required).
Campers supply all their own equipment. Tip: If you do not have your own camping equipment hiring may be a good option https://www.camplify.com.au/
