Join Innovation Central Canberra for the Winter Intensive Program Showcase, where University of Canberra students will present the projects, prototypes, progress, and outcomes developed through their 10-week industry-led sprint.

The Winter Intensive Program brings together students, UC academics, Cisco, and industry partners to work on real challenges identified by our partner ecosystem, including Merewyn Partners, Industry Capability Network, University of Canberra, Mesh Cyber, and NIIN.

Across six projects, students have contributed to areas such as aged care, cybersecurity, internal process improvement and automation, AI skills framework mapping, and other applied innovation initiatives. Working closely with industry partners, they have developed research outputs, prototypes, practical recommendations, and early-stage solutions designed to support meaningful outcomes for partner organisations.

This showcase is an opportunity to hear directly from the student cohort, learn about the challenges they have tackled, and see how industry-partner driven projects can help build practical, job-ready capabilities while contributing to real organisational needs. Whether you are an industry partner, academic, student, or member of the broader innovation ecosystem, we invite you to join us in celebrating the work of this cohort and the impact created through applied learning and collaboration.

Join us to support the cohort, connect with our partner ecosystem, and see the impact of industry-led innovation in action.
